 achievements from which he has attained educational success (Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees), writing success (author of two books), athletic success (American Masters Weightlifting Champion), and coaching success (College Wrestling Coach of the Year, molded 14 All-Americans, 52 Academic All-Americans, and eight nationally ranked teams).

Married for 29 years (wife-Annie, children-Nick, Brandon- both college graduates), Steve lives in Mayfield New York, where he is a college professor, volunteers in school conflict resolution programs, and is a board member for the New York Epilepsy Foundation.
